This is the best, most amazing slow-mo footage of an osprey fishing.

I have never seen a bird “shake the water off” in flight as the video shows.

Ospreys have amazing eyesight and can see the fish from a high elevation.

When the water is deep, the bird can completely submerge – it looks like a dive bomber,

given the speed at which it hits the water.

You can see it juggling the fish to get it to be aerodynamic (head pointing forward)

so it can fly it back to the spot it intends to feed at or to the nest.



They are the best fishermen in the world !
